I attended the IEEE Nuclear and Space Radiation Effects conference (NSREC) in Hawaii from July 21 to July 28, 2007 with my wife (her exact input was, ``like I'm going to let you go there alone!") Roll the mouse over a picture to read the caption or click on any picture to see a larger version.
We began every morning feeding birds on our balcony.
We always climb Diamondhead when we are on Oahu.
These are views on the way to the Conference at the Hawaiian Hilton Village as well as pictures in the Village. We chose not to stay at the Hilton so this was what I saw every day on my 1 mile walking commute to the conference.
We took a day and flew over to the Big Island; these pictures are from Volcanoes National Park..
There are always great meals when we visit Hawaii.
Our last meal was at the Cheesecake Factory in Waikiki--this was actually listed as an appetizer!
The conference was very informative and enjoyable--nothing like ``having" to go to Hawaii for work.
